Toronto, ON - GAO Tek Inc. is now offering the GAO5221 xDSL Subscriber Loop Analyzer, a comprehensive test instrument used mostly for locating line faults in all kinds of cable such as POTS and xDSL. The analyzer can be used to test the cable’s capabilities for xDSL signals. This test instrument is one of the best choices for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

GAO’s loop analyzer measures line cables using the single-ended test method, and tests include VAC/VDC for twisted pair copper cable, resistance, AC/DC current, capacitance, frequency response, noise and coil load. It can also be used for measuring the maximum available bit rate supported by a local loop without the need of an xDSL modem, locating bridge taps, shorts and opens, and finding any other impairments that may exist on the line.

 

GAO5237 can supports these tests:

1, TDR(Time Domain Reflectometry) test, manually or automaticlly.

2, Frequency Response, in Single End Measured type.

3, Noise Measurement, range from +24dBm to –50dBm

4, DMT test, Single End Measured type

5, Load Coil Detection

6, DMM(Digital Multimeter)
