Toronto, Canada - GAO Instruments has released its high-performance handheld signal level analyzer operating in the frequency range from 5MHz to 870MHz. It is specifically designed and manufactured for CATV engineers and technicians to facilitate installation and testing of CATV systems.

This signal level analyzer measures CATV TILT, C/N and trunk cable voltage and also has functions such as channel plan selection, channel amending, channel sorting and channel editing This portable signal level analyzer, model A0500014, is small in size and light in weight and has a large LCD screen for clear display of test results. It has an auto-off timer for power conservation.

The analyzer tests CATV signal levels in both channel (SCAN) and frequency (SPECTRUM) modes. In 'SCAN' mode, the analyzer is able to scan all channels and record signal levels in internal memory for later analysis. In 'SPECTRUM' mode, the analyzer conducts tests within the frequency range and provides spectrum displays. This handheld analyzer stores twenty-four groups of scanned data (up to 100 channels per group) and has two RF F-Type input ports.

Windows compatible software is included for easy system set up. For any sales inquires please contact: 1-877 585-9555 ext. 601 -Toll Free (USA & Canada)...
