LOS ANGELES, Aug. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- TelePacific Communications, a provider of business telecommunications solutions based in California, announced multiple upgrades to its 1Net IP VPN product. TelePacific has integrated SmartVoice capability, making a "triple play" of services available; added Outbound Internet Failover capabilities; introduced six Classes of Service Packages; and added ADTRAN NetVanta routers to the list of products that work seamlessly with 1Net. In addition, TelePacific now offers 1Net to California and Nevada-based customers with international locations through an agreement with Global Crossing.

The upgrades mean customers will not only experience the robust data networking inherent to 1Net, but also benefit from improved reliability, higher data speeds, lower costs and increased flexibility.

"TelePacific is pleased to provide our customers with the 'triple play' offered by the integration of 1Net and SmartVoice, which allows customers to have voice services, private networking and Internet services over the same access circuit, meaning it's a more cost-effective and simple solution for accessing TelePacific services," said David Zahn, TelePacific's vice president of marketing. "We are working hard to provide our customers with the highest quality products and services at a competitive price point, and these 1Net upgrades are just one more example of our commitment to excellence."

TelePacific's 1Net MPLS-enabled IP VPN allows customers to connect locations privately and securely with low up-front costs, is easy to integrate into existing corporate networks and allows employees to connect remotely, promoting productivity when traveling or working from home. The recent upgrades bring new features and functionality to 1Net, including:

  • The integration of SmartVoice capabilities, which means customers now have a "triple play" available: voice services, private networking and Internet services over the same access circuit, making it a more cost-effective and simple solution
  • New Classes of Service Packages, which provide customers a greater degree of flexibility to prioritize their applications and ensure business-critical functions take priority
  • Outbound Internet Failover, which means customers will experience few or no Internet disruptions because their traffic will be automatically routed to a backup connection for service
  • The ability ...
